- Firstly, after bath, you should get a towel and use it to wipe your dog’s ear off the excess water that might have retained therein.
- Also if you suspect that fungal and bacterial are the main cause of the infection then you have to get an anti bacterial agent with the aid of a cotton wool squeeze some amount into the inner part of the ear, then massage it, this will enable the solution to penetrate into the ear and should be left for some time, this will loosen up the dirt’s inside the ear. With the help of a cotton wool you can wipe off the solution both the inner and the outer part should be carefully cleaned.
2. You can also visit the vet for check up in the case of bacterial and acute ear infection, for dogs that have lots of hair in their ear or excess wax the vet will be of good help in getting rid of the wax as well as help in the trimming of the hair in the ear.
