There are some very good reasons why you need ear wax  removal it thus play an important role in ear cleaning. Wax from the ear often look brownish in color but they have a role they perform for us, they are substance that helps in preventing dirt’s from entering the ear hence they act as a defensive mechanism against foreign elements from gaining entrance into the inner part of the ear.

This means that wax been produce in this part of the body is very useful but there are times when the wax produce becomes too much, it pushes to the outer part so that you can easily get rid the excessive once, leaving without cleaning them off the outer part has some effect on hearing.

Though the ear do not need special care for cleaning of such gland that it been produced, on it own it has the ability of cleaning off the wax of the gland, but in case whereby excessive secretion of such wax, this lead to the produce of the wax in a large quantity thereby pushes older one to the top and if left unclean, this can lead to itching, and other times hearing defect, most of the time lots of people make use of sharp object, finger and bud in removing the gland which is a very bad practice as this can damage the inner ear which is responsible for hearing.

Home Remedies for Ear Wax Removal

Has said earlier the use of finger bud and sharp object in removal of ear gland is not the appropriate way of cleaning the ear, this method only tend to push the wax back inside the ear thus causing more blockage to hearing, other times people who often make use of their fingers and other sharp object do complain of strange noise in their ears this is some of the effect for not using the right procedure and tool for ear cleaning. 

For proper and safe ear cleaning there are some of the home remedies that can be used which is very effective in cleaning. This procedure are list below.

1. Paraffin oil- this involves the mixture of the oil with small quantity of warm water, the water can be heated up with a candle light and the mixture should be filled in an eye drop container. Lying sideways such that the ear is tiled upward then you can press two or three drops of the mixture into the ear, leave it for a couple of minutes and empty it in a towel close to  you. Also with warm water, this time without the mixture should be press into the ear, this is used to rinse it thus bring out the residues of the wax. The procedure should be repeated two or three times for complete removal of the wax.

    2.    Using a Hydrogen Peroxide Ear Wax Removal – hydrogen peroxide is a cleansing agent hence it can be use for ear waxremoval. The solution comes in a kit with a syringe which is used in dropping the peroxide in the ear, also the ear must be positioned in a manner such that the solution can penetrate into the ear, but care must be taken so that the syringe should not get in contact with the inner part. 

This process should be carried out for couple of days before you start seeing results. Though this method is effective but then there are some side effect that goes along with it, for people that have problem with their ear it is advisable to see a specialist before making use of peroxide because peroxide is a very strong cleansing agent that can cause more damage to the ear, hence caution must been taken before using it as ear wax removal.
